If you searched for a travel agent, that's what I am, and then some. I build the whole trip, and I stay with it until you're home.

I was born in Sioux Falls, raised on road trips, and spent twenty years in corporate sales before I finally admitted the part I loved was the planning. My first hosted group was a family reunion in the Caribbean, eleven people, four time zones of opinions, and one very patient resort manager. I have been hooked ever since. Today I plan custom group travel for multigenerational adult families, couples, and milestone celebrations, with Caribbean, Mexico, and Europe trips following, and honeymoons and destination weddings after that. I host a small group journey or two every year so I never forget what it feels like to be on the other side of the itinerary. When I am not working, I am usually researching the next one.

I travel with my clients too.

A few times a year I host a small group trip in person. Same standards, warmer table. If the idea of a curated trip without solo planning appeals, my Group Journeys are the place to start.

Questions

Questions I get asked

Same profession, newer name. The industry moved to advisor because the work goes well past booking. I research, match you to the right property or ship, coordinate every piece, and stay on call while you travel.

CTA is Certified Travel Associate, a credential from The Travel Institute that requires coursework, an exam, and ongoing education. CLIA is the Cruise Lines International Association certification. Both mean I've done the training, not just the selling.

Long enough to hold specialist training with Royal Caribbean, AmaWaterways, Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection and Sandals, and to have a client list that mostly comes from referrals. I'll happily walk you through the specifics on a call.

Paradise Travel is my own practice. I'm a member of ASTA and I hold direct certifications with Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, AmaWaterways, Sandals, Celebrity, and Royal Caribbean, among others. You work with me, not a call center.

Yes. I don't recommend a resort I haven't vetted, either in person or through advisors I trust who've stayed there recently.

You don't need one. But most couples I work with tell me it was the first travel decision they didn't second-guess. Honeymoons are one of the trips where the small details make or break it, and that's exactly where I earn my keep.

Booking sites hand you a room and a receipt. I hand you a considered trip, plus a real person to call if something goes sideways at 11 pm local time.

The Caribbean, Mexico, Europe, the South Pacific, Alaska, and river routes across Central Europe. I hold destination credentials in the places I send clients most.

You work with me, not a team. I reply within one business day.

5.0 on Google

Every review is from a real client, in their own words.

I've walked it

I tour resorts and villas in person, like Half Moon in Montego Bay, so my advice comes from being there.

Built around how you travel

Nothing comes off a shelf. Your pace, your interests and the way you like to travel shape every day.

Small ships to private charters

Small ships, expedition voyages and catamaran charters are where I go deepest.
