Cruises and Charters

Luxury Cruises and Yacht Charters

I'm Beverly Schulte, and at Paradise Travel I plan luxury cruises and yacht charters in the Caribbean, Mexico, and Europe. Some trips want a small ship where the crew learns your name. Others want a private catamaran and a captain who knows the quiet anchorages. I help you figure out which one is yours, then I book it.

Cruises I book, and who they suit

I'm certified with Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, Silversea, Scenic, Azamara and Celebrity, and I hold 60+ professional certifications across cruise, resort and destination programs. That covers a lot of ground, from a small yacht-style ship in the Mediterranean to a big ship the grandkids won't want to leave.

River cruises are what I suggest to people who've never cruised and aren't sure they'd like it. You're in town most days. The Danube at Christmas is the one I'm building a hosted group around, and the details are on the hosted journeys page.

Private charters

Yacht and catamaran charters

A crewed charter works best for a family or a group of friends who want the boat to themselves. You pick the islands, the crew cooks, and nobody's fighting for a lounger. I'm destination certified in the U.S. and British Virgin Islands, and that's where most of my charter requests land. I also arrange charters in the wider Caribbean and the Mediterranean, and I pair the sailing with a few resort nights on either end. The full charter guide is on my private yacht and catamaran charters page.

Charters pair well with a honeymoon or a milestone birthday. For the land side of the islands, read my Caribbean and Mexico luxury travel page.

Questions

Questions I get asked

Both. For some trips a small ship like the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection is the right answer, and for others a private crewed catamaran in the Caribbean fits better. I'll tell you which one I'd pick for your group and why.

Often, yes. River ships are small, you're docked in town most days, and there's no open sea. I'm certified with AmaWaterways, and their Christmas Markets sailing is the one I'm building a hosted group around.

For the best cabin categories on popular sailings, nine to eighteen months. Private charters in the Caribbean winter season go early too. Shorter windows can work, you'll just have fewer choices.

The fare itself is the same, the cruise line pays me. For custom door-to-door planning around a sailing, flights, transfers, hotels, and the details in between, I charge a Research and Concierge Care Fee, confirmed before any work begins.

Tell me where you'd like to sail.

Send me the dates and who's coming. I'll come back with the ship or the boat I'd book.
